When you have to be away
Your pup won't even miss youWhen you have to be away, we are here for you, 365 days a year, including holidays. You will have the peace of mind knowing your special family member will enjoy all day playtime, their own suite for dining and sleeping, relaxing classical music to wind down the day, and all the snuggles needed for a good night’s sleep.
What do I bring?
- We encourage bringing a favorite bed or blanket from home because, well, everyone prefers their own bed; but we do have cots, beds, blankets, bowls, and lots of stuff to make your loved ones stay as comfortable as possible.
- To ensure your pup has enough food for the duration of their stay, please pre-portion each meal into individual baggies. (when in doubt, add an extra scoop or two). No need to send in bowls.
- We do not recommend toys or bones, as they are easy to misplace and pose a choking/ingestion risk depending on the type. Toys stay in the dog's suite and are never shared, so please make sure any toys you bring are safe to leave with the dog unattended. Nylabones and other similar chews are generally safe.
All overnight guests participate in daily play groups so an Orientation Day prior to their stay is required for new clients. Dogs must attend daycare or Academy a minimum of twice per month to be eligible for overnight stays. The attendance requirement will reduce the natural stress associated with being away from home overnight by fostering a higher level of familiarity, for us and them. Every staff member enjoys taking the time to get to know the individual personalities, likes, dislikes, allergies, etc, catering to and caring for each pet. It is difficult to maintain this level of familiarity with infrequent attendance. While this may be an inconvenience, we hope that you will recognize the positive affect this has for your loved one.
Drop off times for boarding are either before noon or after 4 pm. We understand that travel plans vary and can be stressful for both you and your pup so we will work with you to make your vacation plans as enjoyable as possible.
Boarding Rate: $48 single dog; $35 additional dog
Rates are based on a 24-hour period; if the pick up time is later than drop off time, a $15 daycare fee is applied.
All prices are subject to 8% NYS sales tax. Fees paid are non-refundable and due at time of service. Should a refund be requested, any balance will be applied to your account to be used on future services and products.
Enhancement services and bedtime treat options of frozen peanut butter/pumpkin kong, marrow bone, or Frosty Paws are available to overnight guests.
